We last left our heros in the clutches of the tabbing syndrome!!
Here she comes to get her mast. Ken assisting with the mast process. Sensei Tom Gambell, (East Bay Aikido), trying to understand Guy's vague directions. Mast step, cleaned, prepped, painted with epoxy paint, and ready for the mast. Note the thin plastic cutting board between the mast step and the support frame to prevent corrosion. Up up and away. After a couple of weeks worth of work by Guy, Sensei Gambell, Niki Roosevelt, Noel Amherd, Ken Koerwitz, Ed Seckendorf, and Melissa, the mast is headed back into the boat. Walking it down the ramp while it is supported by the Gin Pole. (Why do they call it a Gin Pole anyway?).
Again a special thanks to all of our friends that helped us get the mast ready for the boat, and the boat ready for the mast. It has been a lot easier experience, and we have had a lot more fun doing all of the tasks of the project so far with their help.
Stuffing the mast in the hole. More stuffing. Look the floorboards fit perfectly again! Yeah!!!!
